I develop players who
solve the game

I help teams shape environments where skills, decisions, and confidence transfer to real games.

Five5 KHL seasons · Three3 Finland seasons · 1000+ games analyzed.

Start from the game. Build from the player.

I coach from the game backward. The drill exists to put the player inside the question the game will ask them — under pressure, timing, opponents, teammates, and changing information.

What players notice first is that the work is built around them. Individual honest feedback. Tailored video each week on what their game asks for. Small-sided games and shaped tasks that put them inside real questions instead of drilled answers.

The work is tactical, technical, and personal at the same time — what the player sees, how they move, what they choose, and how they understand their own game. Individual relationships make feedback usable.

The theoretical foundation is ecological dynamics. The practical framework is nonlinear pedagogyconstraints-led approach, representativeness, variability, guided discovery. We do not train isolated movements and hope they appear in the game. We shape the environment so the player learns to read, adapt, and act.

Constraints-led approach

Design the drill so the player is guided toward useful solutions by the drill itself, not by being over-instructed.

Representativeness

Drills preserve the information and decisions a player faces in the real game.

Variability

Changing situations help skills become adaptable instead of fragile.

Guided discovery

Players learn by noticing and reflecting in a dialogue instead of obeying one-sided instructions.

How I work.

Four formats. Same standard, different starting points.

01

Team coaching

Pro clubs · junior clubs · coaching staff

Practice planning, tactical structure, video feedback, player meetings, camp support, and development environment design.

→ Better sessions; better transfer from practice to games.

02

Player development

Ambitious players · parents · agents

Shift review, dialogue, guided discovery, clear development planning. Built around the player’s own game.

→ Honest feedback and a development plan the player can act on next week.

03

Skills development

Specific technical focus · game transfer

On-ice detail connected back to game situations. Technique matters most when it solves real problems under pressure.

→ Technique that holds up when the game is fast.

04

Scouting

Agents · clubs · decision-makers

Structured evaluation: game footage, context, role, strengths, limitations, and development projection.

→ A read on the player — role, fit, and development projection.

Tool I built

Pelaa — from thought to finished clip, fast.

Built to close the distance between thinking it and seeing it — every tool in one window, every action on a shortcut. The core of an enterprise coaching tool — streamlined, native, at a fraction of the price.
